DELICATESSEN FRATELLI GRECI

The project concerns a delicatessen shop, a commercial space renovation that purchases products and wine in London. The renovation relates to a two-storied shop – ground floor and basement, in Mayfair at the center of London. Located on a street with a clear identity, the project aims to maintain the existing proportions and style of both the façade and the interior.

In the ground floor, one can find products shelves, the preparation area, the customer service, and sitting area. In the basement, one can walk through the Mediterranean products area and finally end up in the wine cellar with wooden test tables and support facilities. The furniture made of wood with light details, metal constructions for hanging and display products and the tile pattern on the floor refer to traditional groceries. For the purposes of better and targeted exhibition, all products have been placed on a white background of walls and furniture.

Large wood surfaces are leaning on hulking elements of metal for the Administration and Main office areas, where a corian solid surface is grounded on a metal quadruped base for the Meeting room table. Finally, metal cascading doors with safety glass divide the Management area from the Main office area.
