A bar, situated on a rooftop terrace, is planned to overlook the center of Larissa. Part of the terrace is designed as an “open space” and the restcovers from a lightweight shelter. The design of the flooring matches with this alternation. The shelter defines the movement of the visitor that extends along the entrance. It is designed with successive wooden surfaces turning in one axis, thus forming a corrugated shape. A shelter that seems to move like the wind moving.
Furthermore, the light is an important component in the design. Designed light, such as a glass-lighted bar, linear lights and light tubes take place on the rooftop.
Materials such as wood, metallic oxidized surfaces, cement mortar and a monochrome palette with minimal adornment exude an uplifting sense.
