APARTMENT IN ATHENS

This project concerns a boutique apartment in Vasilissis Sofias Street for temporary rental hosting one or two persons.

It is an open space with an open-plan living room, dining and sleeping area design. Specially designed constructions, come to separate the different functions of inhabitation in the apartment. Different height at floor level and a metal “curtain” act as optical filters in the sleeping area. Cellar, hanging shelf, hanging TV stand, dining table with a linear and unevenness lighting fixture, a headboard that is an extension of the floor itself are some of the specially designed constructions.
A design attempting to unify and simultaneously divide habitation functions.

Wood and metal are the materials that dominate in the space.
